Rezumat

Objectives:  Optimal oncologic care includes successful prevention and management of the adverse effects of cancer and its treatment. This review explored the most efficient evidence-based strategies in supportive care.

Material and Methods: Our search identified recent original articles published between 2018 and 2020.

Discussion: We examined currently available evidence about the optimal strategies of palliative care.

Conclusions: Supportive care needs a holistic approach and appropriate interventions to prevent pain and to meliorate the quality of life.
